FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best collar for giant breed dogs like Mastiffs?
The best collar for giant breed dogs is one that is specifically designed for extreme size, strength, and safety—not just a scaled-up version of a standard dog collar.
Most collars sold in stores aren’t built for dogs with 27–36 inch necks or the power of breeds like Mastiffs, Great Pyrenees, or Saint Bernards.
Our collars are:
- Built for a full range of neck sizes from 8 inches up to 32+ inches
- Reinforced with heavy-duty materials
- Designed and hand-sewn on industrial sewing machines (not mass-produced overseas)
- Backed by a lifetime warranty
If your dog has ever broken a collar, slipped out, or outgrown “XL” options—you’re in the right place.
Do you make collars big enough for very large dogs (30–36 inch necks)?
Yes. This is one of the main reasons our company exists. We have a dog with a 27" neck.
We stock collars that go up to 32", and we are happy to sew custom collars larger than that, just send us a message and ask for the length you need!
Many of our customers come to us after struggling to find collars that actually fit their giant breed dogs.

Do you really make strong collars for small dogs?
Yes! We call our small collars and leashes our “Tiny Giant” gear. This is our line of heavy-duty collars and leashes made specifically for small dogs with big personalities.
We hear it all the time: “My dog just thinks he’s big.”
So we built a line just for them. Just as strong and durable as our larger collars, just scaled for smaller dogs. Tiny Giant collars and leashes are not flimsy, decorative collars—they’re real working dog gear, just in a smaller size.
Tiny Giant collars and leashes are backed by our lifetime warranty.
We don’t make “light-duty” products—no matter the size of the dog.
Are your dog collars really handmade?
Our gear is:
- Designed, cut, and sewn in Oregon
- Made using industrial sewing machines by us.
- Built with materials sourced primarily from U.S. suppliers
The result is a product that is high-quality and professionally constructed but is still hand-built for strength, durability, and precision.
When you buy from us, you’re supporting American manufacturing and craftsmanship and a small family-run business.
Every order is handled by the same people who built the company from the ground up.
What makes your collars different from mass-produced brands?
Most brands design for average dogs and mass production.
We design for:
- Strong dogs of ANY size
- Giant breed specific needs
- Purpose-built for real-world issues like pulling, lunging, leash training, reactivity, and wear over time
- Owner safety and confidence
- Handmade quality control
- Lifetime warranty
- Battle tested by working and high-power dogs
Do you offer a lifetime warranty?
Yes. Every collar and leash we make is backed by our lifetime warranty.
If something fails due to workmanship or materials, we will repair or replace it.
We build our gear to last for years—not months.
What is a No-pull Wrap Leash and how does it work?
Our No-pull Wrap Leash is designed to help turn difficult, pulling dogs into calmer, more manageable walkers—without harsh corrections.
It works by:
- Using a natural wrap technique that reduces pulling leverage
- Redirecting your dog’s movement instead of fighting against it
- Taking strain off your shoulders and arms
Many customers tell us their dogs become walkable for the first time using this leash and we have witnessed the INSTANT transformation most dogs have with it countless times.
Will the No-pull Wrap Leash work for my strong reactive dog?
Yes, more than likely it will work, and will work quickly. This is exactly what it was designed for.
We’ve seen it help with:
- Large, powerful pullers
- Dogs that lunge or react on walks
- Owners who feel physically overpowered
- Young and untrained dogs
- Dogs that pull in a harness and against their collar when walking on a leash (usually stops or significantly lowers both behaviors)
Because it works with your dog’s movement instead of against it, while also giving the dog somatic feedback that harnesses and standard leashes don't - it usually dramatically reduces the effort required to stay in control of a strong dog.
Do you make custom dog collars or gear?
Yes. We regularly create custom sizes and occasionally custom builds.
If your dog:
- Falls outside standard sizing
- Has unique needs
- Needs a specific length and type of leash
- Or you just can’t find what works
Reach out—we’re happy to help.
Are your collars good for dogs that pull?
Yes—but for heavy pulling, we often recommend pairing a regular style collar (not a martingale) with our No-pull Wrap Leash for the best results if you want to stop your dog from pulling as hard.
The collar provides strength and security with a fixed D-Loop at the back of the neck.
The leash changes the entire walking experience.
